Are you a strategic leader in supply chain management? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Purchasing and Procurement to lead our procurement operations in Kuching, Sarawak. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, driving efficiency, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing to ensure our operational supplies and equipment are sourced timely and cost-effectively.
As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable contracts, and implementing robust procurement strategies that align with the company's business goals. You will lead a team, manage the budget, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing to vendor onboarding.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best pricing and terms.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and driving cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Deep understanding of supply chain principles, risk management, and vendor management.
- Fluency in English and Malay is preferred.
