We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Software Engineering to spearhead our technical strategy and lead our growing engineering organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of scalable software engineering roadmaps designed to support the rapid growth and evolution of our mobile applications and platform ecosystems. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation, code excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization. - Lead the end-to-end strategy for software engineering, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Define and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Oversee the architecture and scalability of our mobile applications and platform ecosystems.
- Drive technical decision-making and innovation, keeping the organization at the forefront of industry trends.
- Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering teams and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Strong expertise in mobile application development (iOS/Android) and platform architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling agile teams and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup or growth-stage environment is highly desirable.
