The Provincial Government of Bulacan is seeking a dedicated Health Education & Promotion Officer II to join our dynamic Public Health team in the Ilocos Region. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of health education programs aimed at improving community health outcomes across the region.
You will collaborate with local health units, schools, and community organizations to develop culturally relevant curricula, conduct training sessions, and mobilize outreach campaigns that address prevalent public health concerns such as disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and mental wellness. Your expertise will also support dataâdriven decisionâmaking by analyzing health trends and preparing reports for senior management.

- Design, develop, and update health education curricula and training materials tailored to the needs of diverse populations in the Ilocos Region.
- Plan and execute community health campaigns, workshops, and outreach activities to promote disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and mental health awareness.
- Collaborate with local government units, schools, NGOs, and health professionals to coordinate joint health initiatives and ensure program alignment with national policies.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret health data to monitor program effectiveness, identify gaps, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
- Train and supervise community health workers, volunteers, and educators on health promotion best practices and curriculum delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the development of health promotion policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Development, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in health education, community outreach, or public health programming.
- Proven ability to develop educational materials, curricula, and communication campaigns for varied audiences.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reportâwriting skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Eligibility for employment in the Philippine government sector (e.g., Civil Service eligibility) is highly desirable.
