We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Klang. The ideal candidate will be a proactive safety champion, ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed local regulatory standards and international best practices.
As an HSE Officer, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety. You will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting rigorous risk assessments, and implementing strategic safety initiatives to protect our employees and the environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in alignment with Malaysian OSH regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) for all manufacturing processes.
- Organize and lead safety training programs, including toolbox talks, emergency response drills, and safety induction for new hires.
- Investigate all workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and actionable corrective measures.
- Liaise with government bodies such as DOSH and JAS to ensure all licenses and environmental permits are up to date.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management and emission controls, to minimize the company’s ecological footprint.
- Prepare and present monthly HSE performance reports to the management team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related Engineering field.
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH (Green Book holder preferred).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of working experience as a Safety Officer within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and Factory and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in conducting root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
- Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
