Tanggung Jawab
- Provide high-quality basic nursing care and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Perform regular monitoring of patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and accurately document readings in the clinical system.
- Assist nursing staff with clinical procedures, wound dressing, and the preparation of medical equipment.
- Ensure the ward environment remains clean, sterile, and organized according to hospital safety protocols.
- Support patient mobility, including safe lifting, positioning, and escorting patients for diagnostic tests or transfers.
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and address patient needs with empathy and professionalism.
- Manage ward inventory and supplies, ensuring all necessary medical consumables are adequately stocked.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to report any changes in patient condition.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a Sijil Pembantu Kesihatan (Healthcare Assistant Certificate) or a Level 3 Certificate in Nursing Support/Nursing Science.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in a multidisciplinary ward.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or be willing to undergo training.
- Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to work in a shift rotation environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks related to patient care.
- A compassionate mindset with a strong commitment to patient safety and service excellence.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented medical environment.
