Tanggung Jawab
- Manage comprehensive billing follow-ups and resolve outstanding patient accounts
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details for medical services
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies through patient/provider communication
- Implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely revenue recovery
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with clinical teams to clarify service documentation
- Monitor aging reports and escalate high-risk accounts appropriately
- Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations and payer policies
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma; associate's degree in healthcare administration preferred
- 1-2 years of medical billing or patient collections experience
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification and claim processes
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Detail-oriented approach to financial data management
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with ICD-10/CPT coding and billing regulations
