Smilepoint Dental Centre is a friendly, familyâoriented dental practice conveniently situated opposite Holland Village in the vibrant Chip Bee Gardens. We are seeking a motivated Healthcare Intern to join our supportive clinical team and gain handsâon experience in a modern dental environment.
As a Healthcare Intern, you will work closely with our dentists and dental assistants, assisting with patient flow, clinical setup, and infectionâcontrol procedures. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in patient communication, appointment scheduling, and clinic documentation while learning the nuances of quality dental care.

Tanggung Jawab
- Support dentists during examinations and routine procedures, ensuring a clean and organized treatment area.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to clinic protocols.
- Assist with patient intake, including recording medical histories and updating electronic records.
- Guide patients on postâprocedure care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Help coordinate appointment scheduling and manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and report any shortages to the clinic manager.
- Contribute to a positive, teamâfocused environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and patients.
Kualifikasi
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a certificate/diploma in healthcare, nursing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customerâservice mindset.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastâpaced dental environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for documentation.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore (citizens, PR, or valid work pass).
- Prior experience in a clinical or patientâfacing role is a plus.
