We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Electrician to join a highly stable company in the West Region. The Role
As a Heavy Equipment Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical reliability and performance of heavy machinery. You will handle everything from routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to complex electrical repairs. Your expertise will directly impact the operational efficiency of the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair on heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, modify, and upgrade electrical components and systems.
- Work closely with the mechanical team to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Maintain detailed service records and parts inventory.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace safety regulations and LOTO procedures.
Requirements
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment or industrial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, sensors, controllers, and PLC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated, independent, and a team player.
- Willing to work in the West Region.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine and emergency troubleshooting and repair of heavy equipment electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults using schematic diagrams, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on wiring, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Install, upgrade, and modify electrical components per technical specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and mechanics to resolve complex breakdowns.
- Keep accurate logs of work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Electrician in heavy equipment or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation is a plus.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in workshop/field environments.
