Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy vehicles including trucks and trailers.
- Conduct routine engine overhauls, gearbox repairs, and brake system maintenance to ensure fleet safety.
- Inspect and repair complex hydraulic and pneumatic systems across various heavy-duty platforms.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic software to identify and resolve electronic control unit (ECU) and wiring faults.
- Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance activities, including parts usage and labor hours.
- Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to prioritize repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2-4 years of hands-on experience specializing in heavy vehicle maintenance or diesel engines.
- Strong technical proficiency in hydraulic systems and pneumatic braking mechanisms.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic scanners and electronic troubleshooting equipment.
- Possession of a valid Class 4 or Class 5 driving license is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Physically fit and capable of performing tasks in a workshop environment.
