Changi Airport Group is seeking a highly skilled High-Level Control Manager to oversee the sophisticated Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) that define our world-class operational efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical authority responsible for the end-to-end performance, optimization, and reliability of the HLC software layers, ensuring seamless baggage flow for millions of passengers annually.
You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with vendors and engineering units to troubleshoot complex logic, implement system upgrades, and drive innovation in automated logistics. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the daily operations and performance monitoring of High-Level Control (HLC) software for the Baggage Handling System.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system logic, routing algorithms, and database integration.
- Lead system enhancement projects, including requirements gathering, UAT, and deployment of HLC patches and upgrades.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize baggage throughput and reduce system bottlenecks during peak traffic.
- Manage relationships with external system vendors and contractors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are strictly met.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on system architecture and best practices for industrial control systems.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in managing industrial automation systems, preferably in baggage handling or large-scale logistics.
- Proven expertise in PLC, SCADA, or HLC software architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system reliability and high availability.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and network communication protocols.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with mission-critical 24/7 operational environments is highly advantageous.
