We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospital Information System (HIS) Implementation Manager to join our growing team. As an HIS Implementation Manager, you will support the overall Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will act as the vital bridge between our technical teams, hospital administration, clinicians, and external vendors, ensuring that every implementation is smooth, efficient, and delivers maximum healthcare impact.
Your deep understanding of clinical workflows, health regulations (MOH, PDPA), and IT project lifecycles will be key to mapping business processes to system capabilities. From system configuration and data migration to end-user training and go-live support, you will oversee every phase of the implementation journey.
We are looking for a strategic leader who can not only manage the technical deployment but also champion change management across diverse clinical teams. You will be responsible for driving user adoption by demonstrating how the new system improves patient safety, reduces administrative burden, and enhances data integrity.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage end-to-end implementation of core HIS modules (EHR, LIS, RIS, Pharmacy, etc.) across various hospital departments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Conduct in-depth workflow analysis and gap analysis to align HIS functionalities with hospital clinical and administrative needs.
- Oversee system configuration, customization, and integration with third-party healthcare applications and medical devices.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration strategies, and go-live cutover activities with minimal operational disruption.
- Design and deliver high-quality training programs for clinicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure system adoption and proficiency.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to hospital executives and internal leadership.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with at least 3 years dedicated to implementing Hospital Information Systems.
- Proven experience in leading full-cycle HIS implementations (e.g., Cerner, Epic, iSoft, SAP Healthcare, or other major platforms).
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, hospital operations, and the Malaysian healthcare regulatory environment (MOH, PDPA).
- Excellent project management skills with PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications highly valued.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and clinical directors.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical and operational challenges.
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
