Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including local Indonesian and international cuisine, according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained in accordance with hygiene regulations.
- Monitor food stock and inventory levels, assisting with ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff, including chefs and commis, to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Maintain excellent food presentation, ensuring consistency and visual appeal for all served dishes.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation procedures, including temperature control and proper food handling.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful kitchen environment, fostering teamwork and professional development.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Cook or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- A culinary certificate or diploma from a recognized institution is highly desirable.
