- Optimize and tune high-performance computing applications and systems for maximum efficiency
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot supercomputer performance to identify bottlenecks
- Develop performance benchmarks and metrics to evaluate system capabilities
- Collaborate with researchers to understand computational requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Implement and maintain performance analysis tools and methodologies
- Document performance best practices and create technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging HPC technologies and industry standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in HPC performance engineering or optimization
- Expertise in parallel programming models (MPI, OpenMP) and HPC architectures
- Proficiency in performance profiling tools (e.g., VTune, Perf, TAU)
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Fortran, and Python
- Experience with Linux system administration and HPC environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of scientific computing domains (AI, climate, etc.) preferred
