Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for driving organizational excellence in the fast-paced retail sector? We are seeking an experienced HR General Manager / Head of People to join a high-growth retail group based in Bekasi. In this pivotal role, you will act as a business partner to senior leadership, shaping the people strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance high-level organizational planning with day-to-day HR operations and workforce discipline. You will be responsible for scaling our team effectively, ensuring compliance, and creating a workplace environment that attracts and retains top talent in the competitive retail market.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company’s retail growth objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to support rapid scaling.
  • Manage workforce discipline, industrial relations, and policy development to ensure operational compliance.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including performance management, training, and succession planning.
  • Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS data accuracy to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address personnel challenges and enhance employee engagement across all retail outlets.
  • Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws and internal company regulations.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management position within the retail industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Labor Law (UU Ketenagakerjaan) and industrial relations practices.
  • Proven track record in scaling organizations, managing large workforces, and improving retention rates.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate HR metrics into actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and modern digital recruitment tools.
