We are seeking a seasoned and strategic HR Manager to oversee human capital operations for a high-profile Joint Venture (JV) entity operating within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, and EPCC sector in Pengerang, Johor. This role is pivotal in driving organizational effectiveness in a demanding, fast-paced industrial environment.
As the HR lead, you will act as a key business partner, bridging the gap between corporate objectives and operational realities. You will navigate complex workforce challenges, ensure strict compliance with labor laws and industry safety standards, and foster a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of HR best practices within the technical and engineering landscape, possess excellent stakeholder management skills, and be capable of implementing scalable HR frameworks that support long-term business growth.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead end-to-end HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding for both permanent and contract technical staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with EPCC industry standards and JV-specific business objectives.
- Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes in a unionized or complex manufacturing environment.
- Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) for a diverse workforce.
- Facilitate performance management cycles and identify training and development needs to bridge technical skill gaps.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize manpower planning and workforce scheduling for major projects.
- Ensure full adherence to local labor laws and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) HR-related regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR management, with at least 5 years specifically within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, or large-scale construction (EPCC) sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and industrial relations frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment for technical and engineering roles.
- Experience working in a JV (Joint Venture) or multinational environment is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills with a proactive, hands-on leadership style.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and advanced MS Office skills (Excel for data reporting).
