As an HSE Coordinator, you will be the guardian of our safety policies, working closely with management and employees to identify hazards and implement effective control measures. You will ensure that our daily activities align with national safety regulations and internal protocols, ensuring that no corner is cut when it comes to employee well-being. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with Malaysian OSHA regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, update, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety manuals.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and induction programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor the safe usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and control hazardous materials storage and handling.
- Prepare and submit timely safety reports, statistics, and compliance documentation to management and regulatory bodies.
- Enforce safety policies strictly and act as a mentor to promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or Environmental Science.
- Valid HSE Coordinator Certificate from NIOSH or other recognized and certified institutions (e.g., DOSH-approved).
- Proven experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations, emergency procedures, and industrial hygiene principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to enforce compliance effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic safety software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
