We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HSE Manager to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives at Oki Pulp & Paper Mills. In this critical role, you will develop, implement, and maintain robust HSE systems to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards. You'll drive a proactive safety culture through rigorous risk assessments, employee training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing HSE operations within manufacturing or industrial environments, with particular expertise in pulp and paper processing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize workplace hazards, reduce environmental impact, and achieve zero-incident goals while maintaining operational efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead and mentor the HSE team, conducting regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Coordinate emergency response planning and ensure preparedness for industrial hazards specific to pulp/paper operations
- Monitor compliance with Indonesian labor laws (UU No. 1/1970, UU No. 35/2014) and environmental regulations
- Implement worker training programs covering safety protocols, PPE usage, and environmental stewardship
- Analyze HSE performance data and develop corrective action plans to address recurring issues
- Manage waste reduction, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives across mill operations
- Interface with regulatory bodies during inspections and maintain all required documentation
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of HSE management experience in manufacturing, preferably pulp/paper or heavy industry
- Professional certification (SMK3, OSHA 30, NEBOSH, or equivalent) mandatory
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian HSE regulations and international standards (ISO, ILO)
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety management systems
- Experience leading emergency response teams and crisis management
- Excellent Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skills for training/reporting
