Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in accordance with national and international standards (e.g., OSH, MARPOL, STCW).
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead and coordinate emergency response drills, incident investigations, and provide detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for all staff and trainees, promoting a strong safety-conscious culture.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, inspections, and training, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and internal departments to ensure continuous compliance and effective implementation of safety management systems.
- Advise management on current HSE trends, best practices, and legislative changes to foster continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Oversee waste management procedures and environmental protection initiatives to minimize the organization's ecological footprint.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably within the maritime, education, or training sectors.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Philippine OSH standards and relevant international maritime conventions and regulations (e.g., ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC, STCW).
- Certified Safety Officer (e.g., SO2, SO3) by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing safety management plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct effective training.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
