PT. Malinau Hijau Lestari, a subsidiary of PT. Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk, which is part of the renowned Baramulti Group, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Section Head to join our team in Kalimantan Utara. As a leader in the mining and natural resources sector, we are committed to operational excellence and the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) framework across operations, ensuring compliance with both Indonesian regulations and international best practices. We are looking for a proactive leader who can drive a culture of safety, mitigate risks effectively, and ensure the well-being of our workforce and the surrounding environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the specific needs of mining operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, to prevent recurrence and ensure legal compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to local regulations (e.g., Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources) and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Organize and deliver mandatory HSE training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance safety awareness among all employees.
- Collaborate with site management to integrate HSE goals into operational planning and project execution.
- Prepare and submit accurate HSE reports, including statistics and performance metrics, to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental) or a related field.
- Certified Professional in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSP, or APT Level 4).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in HSE management within the mining or heavy industries sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence behavior and enforce safety rules.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and environmental management systems.
- Proven track record in leading safety culture transformation and incident reduction.
- Ability to work in a remote, challenging field environment in North Kalimantan.
