Join our dynamic team at Chemical Company of Malaysia as a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Technician and become a guardian of workplace well-being. In this critical role, you'll implement proactive safety protocols, conduct rigorous environmental compliance monitoring, and champion sustainable practices across our manufacturing operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies, conduct incident investigations, and ensure adherence to OSHA and ISO 14001 standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily workplace safety inspections and risk assessments in industrial environments
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for all personnel
- Monitor environmental compliance parameters including air/water quality and waste management
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation including incident reports and audit records
- Coordinate emergency response drills and safety committee meetings
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in manufacturing or chemical industry
- Certification in OSHA 30-hour or NEBOSH Diploma preferred
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia's DOSH regulations and environmental standards
- Proficiency in incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid Malaysian driving license required for site inspections
