We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Chiller Engineer / Technician to join our dedicated Engineering team based in Aljunied.
This challenging role places you at the heart of our service operations. You will be responsible for the comprehensive servicing, precise troubleshooting, and expert repair of a diverse portfolio of chiller plants, including centrifugal, screw, and scroll types from top manufacturers like Carrier, York, Trane, and Daikin. Your primary mission will be to diagnose complex technical faults, implement effective solutions, and ensure optimal system performance, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Your daily responsibilities will include performing detailed inspections, conducting preventive maintenance according to strict schedules, and executing corrective repairs. You will also be tasked with supervising chiller overhauls and retrofits, providing authoritative technical support to junior team members and clients, and meticulously maintaining service records and technical documentation. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers.
- Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot complex chiller and HVAC system issues on-site.
- Conduct system inspections and performance testing to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate service records, technical reports, and inventory for spare parts.
- Coordinate and supervise chiller overhaul and retrofit projects when required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and clients on system operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or HVAC & Refrigeration.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in chiller servicing and maintenance.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., Singapore Certified Energy Manager, Cooling Media Handling) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of chiller control systems (e.g., Siemens, York, Carrier, Trane).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting P&ID drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to diagnostics.
- A valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is preferred.
- Team player with good communication and customer service skills.
