We are seeking a visionary and technically adept Systems Engineer to join the National Supercomputing Centre Singapore (NSCC) under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). As the computing landscape evolves, the convergence of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Quantum Computing represents the next frontier. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the operational implementation of cutting-edge hybrid quantum-classical computing systems. You will act as a bridge between traditional supercomputing architectures and emerging quantum hardware, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of complex workflows. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting national research initiatives, enabling scientists and engineers to solve complex problems that were previously unsolvable. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows and orchestration layers.
- Optimize system performance and resource allocation for both classical HPC clusters and quantum processors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum algorithms into existing high-performance software pipelines.
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex infrastructure, including cloud environments and on-premise servers.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and guidance to researchers and developers utilizing the systems.
- Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and implement necessary upgrades.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering, HPC administration, or high-performance software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Deep understanding of Linux system administration, shell scripting, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Experience with workflow management systems (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
