Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive hydrological analyses for various land development projects, including stormwater runoff calculations, flood plain studies, and watershed delineation.
- Design efficient and compliant drainage systems, including culverts, open channels, detention/retention ponds, storm sewers, and sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS).
- Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling using industry-standard software to ensure adequate capacity and performance of water conveyance and control structures.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports for drainage and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with architectural, civil, and structural engineering teams to integrate drainage designs with overall project plans, ensuring constructability and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant local government codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards in the Philippines.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing site queries and resolving design-related issues.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in hydrology, hydraulic analysis, and drainage design, preferably within an architectural or civil engineering consultancy.
- Strong proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, EPANET, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
- Excellent understanding of fluid mechanics, open channel flow, pipe flow, and stormwater management principles.
- Familiarity with local Philippine building codes, environmental regulations, and drainage design standards (e.g., DPWH standards).
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional engineering reports and present technical information effectively.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
