KEY POINT LOGISTICS PLT is currently seeking a detail-oriented Import Customer Service to join our growing team in Klang/Port Klang. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding import shipments, ensuring seamless coordination between supply chain partners and stakeholders.
As an Import Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full import lifecycle. This includes processing shipping documents, tracking cargo, and ensuring compliance with relevant trade regulations. We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a strong understanding of logistics operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end import operations and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Prepare and verify all necessary import documentation, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance.
- Monitor shipment status in real-time and proactively communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
- Resolve logistics discrepancies and troubleshoot shipment problems efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and update the internal tracking system.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or import logistics.
- Familiarity with shipping terms (Incoterms), customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay (or relevant local language).
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage.
