Ideals Recruitment is seeking a motivated Import & Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Pasir Ris. As a key player in our Freight Forwarding, Packing, and Crating division, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless movement of goods across borders while maintaining compliance with international trade regulations.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between clients, customs authorities, and internal warehouse teams. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our global partners.
Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate end-to-end import and export documentation including Bill of Lading, Airway Bills, and Commercial Invoices.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners to ensure timely cargo dispatch and arrival.
- Prepare and process customs declarations and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs and international shipping regulations.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or issues to minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Coordinate packing and crating requirements with the internal warehouse operations team to ensure safe transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and database records of all shipping transactions and client inventory.
- Provide regular status reports and professional support to clients regarding their shipment inquiries.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, or customs clearance.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms, HS Codes, and international shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and common logistics management software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across different departments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle pressure during peak shipment periods.
- Must be based in or comfortable commuting to the Pasir Ris / East Region area.
