Our client, a highly respected and confidential organization (Private Advertiser) at the forefront of the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry, is actively searching for a dedicated and highly competent Import Staff / Licensed Customs Broker to join their dynamic team based in Manila City. This is a critical role responsible for the seamless, compliant, and cost-effective flow of goods into the Philippines.
As the key orchestrator of the import process, you will leverage your Customs Broker license and deep regulatory knowledge to manage every stage of the supply chain—from overseas procurement to domestic delivery. You will work closely with international suppliers, freight partners, and key government agencies like the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to ensure smooth operation. Your expertise in classification, valuation, and tariff rules will directly impact the company's bottom line and operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the entire import lifecycle, from purchase order abroad to cargo release, warehousing, and final delivery.
- Prepare, verify, and submit all required import documentation (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.) to the Bureau of Customs.
- Accurately classify goods using the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) and compute correct duties, taxes, and fees.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipment tracking and clearance.
- Liaise with government regulatory agencies (BOC, FDA, DA, etc.) to secure necessary import permits and clearances.
- Resolve customs alerts, holds, and discrepancies through diligent problem-solving and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor and reconcile import costs, ensuring budget compliance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized filing system for all import records, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, or a closely related field.
- Must be a Licensed Customs Broker (passed the Customs Broker Licensure Examination).
- At least 1 - 2 years of solid experience in importation and customs brokerage is an advantage. Fresh graduates with a license are highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong working knowledge of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) and BOC rules and regulations.
- Proficient in using the e2m Customs System and other BOC online portals for filing and monitoring.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
