As an Inbound Material Handler, you will be at the heart of our warehouse activities, primarily responsible for the precise handling of incoming goods. Your expertise in operating lift trucks will be vital for unloading containers, deconsolidation, and accurately locating materials within our high-rise rack systems. You will also be involved in order picking, packing, and maintaining accurate inventory records through PC-based data updates. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks, safely and efficiently for the movement of inbound materials.
- Execute precise unloading of incoming containers and shipments, ensuring proper handling and accurate documentation of goods.
- Perform deconsolidation of received shipments, accurately sorting and preparing materials for storage or distribution.
- Locate and store materials in designated high-rise rack locations, optimizing warehouse space utilization and accessibility.
- Conduct accurate order picking and packing according to work orders, ensuring materials are prepared for dispatch.
- Maintain and update inventory records and material movement data accurately using PC-based systems and WMS.
- Perform routine pre-operation checks and minor maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, warehouse procedures, and quality standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience (at least 1-2 years) as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
- Valid forklift operating license/certification is highly preferred and often a requirement.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and experience with inventory management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory, records, and order fulfillment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all operational guidelines.
