Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for the hospitality industry? Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is seeking a meticulous Income Auditor to join our team in Malaysia. In this vital role, you will be the guardian of our financial integrity, ensuring that every transaction within our world-class properties is accurate, accounted for, and aligned with our premium service standards.
As an Income Auditor, you will oversee the daily revenue cycle, verifying guest charges, outlet revenues, and credit card transactions. You will work closely with the Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Finance departments to identify discrepancies and implement rigorous internal controls. Tanggung Jawab
- Verify and audit daily revenue reports from all hotel outlets, including Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Gallery.
- Ensure all financial transactions are posted correctly to the Property Management System (PMS).
- Conduct spot checks on point-of-sale systems to ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Reconcile credit card settlements and payment gateway reports with actual revenue recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in revenue figures or guest billing issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare comprehensive daily income journals and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide feedback on financial performance and process improvements.
- Maintain strictly confidential financial records and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar auditing role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera).
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and process gaps.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight financial deadlines.
