Knowles Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Incoming Quality Assurance Senior/Specialist Engineer (Section Head) to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
In this strategic role, you will be the cornerstone of our material quality excellence, overseeing end-to-end incoming material control, qualification processes, and critical problem-solving initiatives. As a Section Head, you will not only manage technical quality assurance protocols but also provide leadership to our QC team, ensuring that our high-precision electronic components meet the stringent global standards our customers expect. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee all incoming quality control (IQC) operations to ensure raw materials meet stringent specifications.
- Manage the qualification process for new materials and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Knowles Electronics standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for any material-related quality non-conformances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance data, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and supervise the IQC team to ensure high performance and strict adherence to internal quality management systems.
- Represent the quality department during internal and external audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial) or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team or acting as a technical section head.
- Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred).
- Strong technical expertise in material inspection, failure analysis, and quality statistical tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA).
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
