Sri Nona Food Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (IETS) Technician to join our facilities team in Rawang. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our food manufacturing operations remain sustainable, efficient, and fully compliant with environmental regulations.
As an IETS Technician, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of our effluent treatment plant. You will work closely with our production and quality assurance teams to ensure that all wastewater discharge meets stringent quality and safety guidelines. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and operate the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) to ensure consistent performance.
- Perform daily chemical dosing, sludge management, and filter cleaning according to standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine water quality sampling and testing to ensure compliance with Department of Environment (DOE) standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of treatment plant activities and system performance metrics.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and monitoring instruments.
- Report any technical faults, abnormalities, or potential environmental risks to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold food safety and hygiene protocols within the facility.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Certificate in IETS (Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems) is highly preferred; CePIETSO holder is an added advantage.
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in wastewater treatment or industrial plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and DOE compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical or chemical treatment issues.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and process integrity.
- Able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and perform shift work if required.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for reporting and data logging.
