UWC Berhad, a leader in high-precision engineering and manufacturing, is currently seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Technician to join our expanding team in Penang. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our production processes, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of precision and productivity.
You will work closely with our industrial engineering team to collect data, implement process improvements, and troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the design and implementation of efficient workstation layouts and production workflows.
- Conduct time studies and motion analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow charts.
- Support the installation, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery and tools.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze production data to assist in performance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production delays and quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization within the manufacturing line.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health standards on the factory floor.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing tools and 5S methodology is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle multi-tasking.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
