Standard Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent and technically proficient Inspector of Work (IOW) to join our expanding team in the Sri Aman Division, Sarawak. As a key member of our site supervision team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that civil and structural engineering projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with Resident Engineers and project stakeholders to oversee construction activities, verify structural integrity, and ensure strict adherence to engineering drawings and technical specifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Monitor construction progress and report status updates to the Resident Engineer.
- Supervise sub-contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Maintain comprehensive site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and photographic evidence.
- Identify, document, and escalate any technical discrepancies or safety hazards to project management.
- Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss project milestones.
- Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials delivered to the site.
Kualifikasi
- Must hold a valid registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as an IOW.
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in site supervision, preferably within civil and structural construction.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret complex structural and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage on-site professional relationships effectively.
- Willingness to be based in the Sri Aman Division, Sarawak.
