Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to quality control procedures.
- Identify potential site issues, non-conformances, or delays and report them promptly to the Project Engineer or Resident Engineer.
- Review and approve construction materials and equipment delivered to the site to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Verify contractors' works and maintain detailed site diaries, progress reports, and photographic records of construction activities.
- Ensure all site activities strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and site personnel to resolve technical discrepancies during the construction phase.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar Inspector of Works role, preferably within infrastructure or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, and quality management systems (ISO).
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between design teams and on-site contractors.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
- Valid professional certification or membership with relevant boards (e.g., BEM) is an added advantage.
