Are you a detail-oriented Engineering professional looking to make an impact on critical infrastructure? SSP (E&M) is currently seeking a dedicated Inspector of Works (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our team for a high-priority Water Works project in Selangor. In this role, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring that all M&E installations meet rigorous quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
You will play a pivotal role in the construction lifecycle, collaborating with contractors, project managers, and engineers to ensure the seamless execution of electrical and mechanical systems within the water facility. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily site operations for mechanical and electrical installations to ensure adherence to project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and workmanship of M&E subcontractors.
- Ensure all site activities comply with local safety, health, and environmental regulations and project-specific requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports for project management review.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues or bottlenecks on-site immediately.
- Monitor the delivery and storage of materials to ensure they meet project compliance and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including material testing results, inspection logs, and meeting minutes.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of site supervision experience, preferably in water works, treatment plants, or large-scale utility infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of M&E technical drawings, schematics, and relevant local building codes.
- Proficiency in site quality control protocols and safety management systems (e.g., OSH).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively between contractors and consultants.
- Possess a valid driving license and willingness to be based at site locations within Selangor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a demanding project environment.
