In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of aspiring bakers by delivering high-quality training and developing innovative curricula.

As an Instructor Chef, you will not only be teaching technical skills but also inspiring creativity and maintaining industry standards in bread and pastry production. The ideal candidate is someone who stays ahead of industry trends, is patient in mentoring students, and has a deep understanding of fermentation, dough handling, and bakery management.

We provide a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, and you are given the autonomy to refine training modules that empower students to excel in the competitive hospitality and bakery industry.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training modules for bread and bakery courses.
  • Conduct hands-on instruction for students, covering techniques from dough preparation to final product finishing.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen safety, hygiene, and organizational workflow.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure skill mastery.
  • Stay current with global bakery trends and integrate new techniques into existing curricula.
  • Manage inventory of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and specialized bakery equipment.
  • Collaborate with management to host workshops, demonstrations, and special culinary events.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Chef, specifically in the Bread & Bakery sector.
  • Proven experience in teaching or mentoring culinary students is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of bread fermentation, pastry arts, and oven management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • A valid culinary certification or equivalent vocational training diploma.
  • Strong patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for food education.
  • Ability to work full-time in a high-paced, professional kitchen and training facility in Surabaya.
