Job Overview
As an Instrumentation and Control Engineer, you will be a key driver of reliability and efficiency within our terminal. Your primary focus will be on the strategic planning, meticulous implementation, and continuous monitoring of all instrumentation and control systems. You will ensure our PLCs, SCADA systems, field instruments, and safety interlocks operate at peak performance. This role offers a unique chance to apply your Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) expertise in a challenging heavy-industrial environment, working with modern automation technologies.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of new instrumentation and control projects to enhance terminal automation and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters.
- Diagnose and resolve complex faults in PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens), DCS, SCADA systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) to minimize operational downtime.
- Develop, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation such as P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and control narratives.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and technicians during installation, commissioning, and shutdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure all control systems and processes comply with industry safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, DOLE).
- Analyze system performance data to identify trends, improve reliability, and recommend strategic upgrades or replacements.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to maintenance staff to elevate team competency in automation and controls.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license as an Electronics Engineer (ECE) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control engineering within a heavy industrial environment (grain, power, petrochemical, mining, or manufacturing).
- Proficiency in industrial automation platforms including PLC programming (Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens S7), HMI development, and SCADA configuration (Wonderware, Ignition, etc.).
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience in maintaining and calibrating field instruments and control valves.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Willingness to work on a contract/temporary basis and be stationed full-time at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales.
