PT Emmerick Indonesia Jaya is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. As a key player in the global petrochemical industry, we are recognized as one of the world's largest producers of low-density polyethylene (LDPE)—a vital plastic polymer derived from oil and natural gas.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for the LDPE production plant.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation.
- Collaborate with process engineers and operations teams to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all control systems comply with industry safety standards (e.g., ISA, IEC) and environmental regulations.
- Lead and participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical control hardware.
- Prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and calibration procedures.
- Manage projects from conception through commissioning, including equipment selection and vendor coordination.
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior technicians and engineering staff.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in the petrochemical, oil, or gas industry.
- Strong expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and SCADA systems.
- Hands-on experience with field instruments (temperature, pressure, flow, level transmitters) and control valves.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, logic diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a continuous operations environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with functional safety systems (SIS) and HAZOP analysis is highly preferred.
