We are currently seeking a highly skilled Intermediate to Senior Piping Designer to join our project team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is pivotal in delivering complex EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) industrial projects. You will be responsible for translating engineering specifications into comprehensive 3D models and precise 2D piping layouts, ensuring full compliance with international engineering standards and project requirements.
As part of our dynamic engineering team, you will collaborate with process, mechanical, and structural disciplines to develop robust plant designs. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed piping layouts, piping isometrics, and equipment general arrangements for industrial facilities.
- Utilize 3D modeling software (Plant 3D, CadWorx, or S3D) to generate accurate piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Conduct interdisciplinary model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks to ensure design integrity.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM), piping material specifications (PMS), and piping classes.
- Coordinate with lead engineers to ensure design compliance with safety, environmental, and project-specific technical standards.
- Participate in project site visits and construction support activities as required to resolve design issues.
- Maintain project documentation, design records, and ensure revisions are tracked and updated efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in piping design within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one major design suite: Autodesk Plant 3D, Hexagon CadWorx, or Intergraph Smart 3D (S3D).
- Strong proficiency in Navisworks for model review, coordination, and clash detection analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME/ANSI piping codes and standards.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary EPCM project environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on constructability and maintainability.
