As an intern, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality audit services to our diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from emerging startups to multinational corporations.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist audit engagement teams in performing substantive testing and control walkthroughs for diverse client accounts.
- Support the documentation of audit work papers in compliance with professional standards and firm methodology.
- Participate in physical inventory observations and assist with the verification of assets.
- Conduct research on accounting standards (FRS/IFRS) and assist in the preparation of financial statement disclosures.
- Engage in client communication and data gathering processes to ensure timely completion of audit procedures.
- Utilize EY’s proprietary audit software and digital tools to enhance audit efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve audit findings and provide support during the year-end closing process.
Kualifikasi
- Current undergraduate student enrolled in the SMU Work-Study Programme (Year 2027 cohort).
- Strong academic foundation in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in audit, financial reporting, and the assurance industry.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and digital tools quickly.
- Commitment to the highest standards of professional integrity and ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
