Join our Country & Marketing (CAMA) x Marketplace Pod as a Data Scientist Intern, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming Malaysia's technical supply and marketplace optimization strategies into scalable regional solutions.

In this hands-on internship, you will work closely with experienced data scientists, product managers, and business leaders to uncover deep insights from complex datasets. You will be at the forefront of optimizing our marketplace, ensuring our platform delivers maximum value to both buyers and sellers. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to real-world problems that impact millions of users across the region.

As part of the CAMA (Campaigns & Marketing) team, you will directly contribute to the efficiency and growth of our marketplace. Your work will involve everything from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to building predictive models and running rigorous A/B tests. Tanggung Jawab

  • Collaborate with the CAMA x Marketplace Pod to identify key opportunities for technical supply and marketplace optimization.
  • Perform large-scale data analysis using Python and SQL to extract actionable business insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to improve marketplace efficiency, search relevance, and campaign performance.
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of A/B experiments, ensuring robust and reliable conclusions that drive product innovation.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketplace.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise presentations and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to integrate data-driven features into the product development lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data science and marketplace design.

Kualifikasi

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling (using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., Regression, Classification, Clustering, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Prior internship or project experience in a related field (e.g., analytics, marketplace, e-commerce) is a strong plus.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
