As an intern embedded within our dynamic Facilities team, you will not simply observe; you will actively contribute to groundbreaking projects. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technicians to monitor, maintain, and optimize extremely complex building systems, including advanced HVAC, electrical distribution, mechanical systems, specialty chemical handling, and gas systems. You will be fully immersed in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 principles, leveraging vast arrays of IoT sensors, big data analytics, and sophisticated machine learning models to predict equipment failures before they happen, optimize energy consumption on a massive scale, and automate routine operational tasks. This is a critical role in ensuring our fabs operate at peak performance.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the real-time monitoring and advanced optimization of critical facilities systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and cleanroom utilities, using AI-driven dashboards.
- Support the development and implementation of predictive maintenance models using machine learning to enhance equipment reliability and uptime for core semiconductor tools.
- Participate in the end-to-end design and execution of automation projects (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, IIoT sensor networks) to streamline facility operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Analyze large datasets from building management systems (BMS) to identify operational trends, anomalies, and strategic opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (Manufacturing, EHS, IT) to troubleshoot complex facility-related issues and ensure seamless 24/7 manufacturing operations.
- Create and update detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials to support the global facilities knowledge base.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and performance tests on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Present project findings, data insights, and recommendations to senior management and engineering teams at the conclusion of the internship.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Data Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Strong academic track record with a demonstrable passion for semiconductor manufacturing, high-tech environments, or industrial facilities operations.
- Solid foundational understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including the ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated exposure to or significant keen interest in data analytics, AI/ML concepts, industrial automation (PLC/SCADA is a plus), or IoT technologies.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of Python, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore and available to commit to a full-time internship duration.
