We are currently looking for a motivated and talented student to join our Manufacturing WET (Wet Process) team as a Full-time Intern.

This is not just any internship. As an intern on the Manufacturing WET team, you will be embedded in the heart of our semiconductor fabrication facility. You will gain unparalleled hands-on experience with the wet etch and wet clean processes that are fundamental to building our cutting-edge memory and storage solutions. Our Singapore site is a global pioneer in leveraging Automated and data-driven manufacturing solutions that boost workflow efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints. Your key focus will be to partner with engineers and technicians to innovate relentlessly and drive operational excellence.

You will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of a high-volume manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complex datasets to identify process variations, supporting process engineers in running experiments, and helping to implement automated solutions that enhance tool productivity and product quality. You will learn how to use advanced data analytics platforms such as JMP, Python, and Spotfire, and will be exposed to the principles of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma within a truly Industry 4.0 facility.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Support the Manufacturing WET team in the day-to-day operation and optimization of wet etch and wet clean processes to meet stringent quality and output targets.
  • Analyze real-time manufacturing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for workflow efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the development and deployment of automation scripts and tools to reduce manual touchpoints in the fabrication area.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Industrial Engineering, to drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in yield enhancement initiatives by conducting root cause analysis on process defects related to WET operations.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for new and existing processes to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to management and stakeholders on project status, findings, and actionable recommendations.

Kualifikasi

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field of study.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural team environment.
  • Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, JMP, or similar) is highly advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, wet chemistry, and cleanroom protocols is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong drive for results.
  • Self-starter with a genuine passion for technology, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Available to commit to a full-time internship duration (6 months preferred) with Micron Semiconductors.
