We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Occupational Health & Safety Intern in Singapore. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain substantial practical experience in the dynamic field of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
The internship runs full-time from August to December, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in our safety culture and contribute meaningfully to our organizational goals. You will work closely with our experienced WSH professionals and play a key role in implementing events and initiatives that promote employee health and well-being, directly aligned with WSHC goals.
In this role, you will not only learn the theoretical aspects of safety management but also apply them in real-world scenarios. From conducting risk assessments to facilitating safety training, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to maintain a robust health and safety framework.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of employee health promotion events and wellness initiatives aligned with WSH Council (WSHC) objectives.
- Support the safety team in conducting regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification exercises across various departments.
- Help maintain, update, and organize safety documentation, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
- Participate in the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, contributing to the development of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate and support safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and relevant regulations.
- Analyze safety performance data to identify trends and assist in proposing proactive measures for continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative and operational support for the maintenance of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Strong passion and foundational knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) principles and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
- Previous internship, part-time work, or academic project experience in Health & Safety is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Singapore WSH Act, regulations, and risk management frameworks is highly desirable.
