As an Intern, you will be exposed to the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. This includes researching suppliers, processing orders, and analyzing market trends. It is a chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world business challenges while contributing to Renesas' continued success.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of potential suppliers to ensure high quality and cost-effectiveness for Renesas.
- Support the procurement team in processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, analyze competitor pricing, and generate reports.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and inventory management.
- Prepare and analyze procurement data to provide insights into spending patterns and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Assist in the organization of supplier meetings and the management of supplier documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Basic understanding of procurement concepts, supply chain dynamics, or manufacturing processes is preferred.
