We are seeking a passionate and driven Automation Developer Intern to join our Data Science & Automation (D&A) team within the Business Analytics function, based in our Bandar Sunway office. The D&A team is at the forefront of Roche's digital transformation, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive efficiency and data-driven decision making across the enterprise.
This internship provides a unique, hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of Business Process Automation (BPA) and Data Analytics. You will work on high-impact projects, collaborating with senior analysts and developers to identify key areas for automation, design robust workflows, develop scripts, and build interactive dashboards that support critical business decisions. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and accuracy.

Tanggung Jawab
- Collaborate with the Data Science & Automation (D&A) team to design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Python, VBA, and RPA tools.
- Support the creation and maintenance of automated data pipelines and workflows to streamline business reporting and analytics.
- Assist in identifying manual, repetitive processes suitable for automation, conducting impact assessments, and proposing technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to support key business stakeholders.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and documentation of automation scripts to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to team velocity.
- Support ad-hoc data extraction, transformation, and analysis requests from business stakeholders across different functions.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong understanding of programming logic; hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or VBA is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automation concepts or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and complex business rules.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; familiarity with the pharmaceutical or diagnostic industry is a bonus.
- Available for a minimum internship commitment of 3 to 6 months.
