We are looking for a motivated IT Operations and Maintenance Intern to join Farben Information (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Johor. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial supporting role in ensuring the continuous stability and efficiency of our Internet Data Center (IDC). You will work closely with our experienced engineering team to maintain optimal performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the deployment of new IT infrastructure.
This internship is perfect for students or recent graduates who are passionate about technology and want to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. You will be exposed to real-world scenarios involving server management, network monitoring, and hardware maintenance. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the Internet Data Center (IDC) infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability and stability.
- Perform routine hardware inspections and preventive maintenance on servers and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT hardware and software issues reported by internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of new software patches, updates, and system configurations.
- Assist in data backup procedures and perform basic recovery tasks.
- Document technical processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident reports.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
