IT Assistant Manager

Chenbro, a leading technology company, is seeking an experienced IT Assistant Manager to join our team in Senai, Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily IT operations, managing a team of IT professionals, and ensuring a robust and secure technology environment that supports the company's growth. Your goal will be to create an excellent working environment by implementing efficient IT systems, maintaining network infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include managing IT projects, developing IT policies, ensuring data security, and providing strategic guidance to align IT with business objectives. You will also be involved in budget planning, vendor management, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT team to ensure smooth operations and high performance.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of network infrastructure, servers, and systems.
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Manage IT projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation.
• Monitor and optimize IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and IT infrastructure.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, ITIL).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
