Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for technical writing and a fluency in Mandarin? Smartdeer Services Centre is seeking an IT Documentation Specialist to join our growing team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will act as the bridge between technical experts and end-users, transforming complex technical processes into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
As an IT Documentation Specialist, you will maintain our knowledge base, ensuring all technical manuals, SOPs, and system configurations are accurately recorded and updated. Your ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin is essential for supporting our regional stakeholders and ensuring seamless cross-border documentation alignment. Tanggung Jawab
- Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, system guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with IT engineers and developers to gather technical information and translate it into easy-to-understand language.
- Manage the internal knowledge base to ensure information is current, accurate, and easily accessible to team members.
- Conduct regular audits of existing documentation to identify gaps and update content as necessary.
- Provide Mandarin language support for regional documentation projects and stakeholder communications.
- Develop visual aids, such as diagrams and workflows, to simplify complex technical processes.
- Assist in the version control and lifecycle management of technical assets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory to support regional operations.
- Proven experience in technical writing, documentation management, or a similar IT role.
- Strong understanding of IT terminology and infrastructure concepts.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Adobe Technical Communication Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
