IT Engineer (Pontian, Johor)

This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of our client's manufacturing IT infrastructure.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), servers, and firewalls to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users across the plant.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, data backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support and manage Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP systems in coordination with the global IT team in Singapore.
- Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory management, and secure disposal of hardware and software licenses.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT projects, maintenance, and support contracts.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience in an IT support, system administration, or IT engineering role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and MES is a strong plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with stakeholders in Singapore/China.
- Possess own transport and willing to work in Pontian, Johor.
