About the Role
As an IT Partner, you will act as a strategic liaison between our research divisions and the core IT function. You will be responsible for understanding complex technical requirements, managing key stakeholder relationships, and championing the adoption of new technologies to solve critical business challenges.
You will work closely with senior leadership to define the IT roadmap, manage a diverse portfolio of projects, and ensure that all technology initiatives are tightly aligned with the broader business objectives of BGC Group. Tanggung Jawab
- Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and business/research units, ensuring alignment of technology with strategic goals.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT projects from initiation through delivery and handover, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement within the research and operations domains.
- Facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies across the organization, acting as a change agent and technology evangelist.
- Ensure IT strategies align with business goals and research objectives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate technical strategy and project status.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business partnering, project management, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects in a research or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), enterprise networking, and modern cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies; PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is highly advantageous.
- High level of commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and business cases effectively.
